I want to share with you the one finished quilt in my home. I'm very proud of this one because it was made by my 16 year old daughter. Whereas I'm in the middle of at least 10 projects (I promise to finish at least one this fall), she started this quilt and didn't stop until it was finished, including hand sewing the binding. She used fabrics from the Marie Webster collection which are still available in the store. Now that I promised to finish one of my projects I better get to it. Keep checking back I promise to show you what I'm working on.
I know it's been months since we have posted on our blog. We promise that now we are settled in at The Patchwork Co. we will start posting regularly. Today we are excited to announce our first block of the month.
Its called "Patriots in Petticoats" featuring fabrics from the Hanna Wallis collection. The fabrics were based on the archives from the Daughters of the American revolution. Each month you will receive fabric and patterns for the blocks to complete the quilt which measures a whopping 98" X 98". Also included each month are the stories of the women who were influential in the american revolution. We hope you are as excited as we are. Stop in and see the swatches of the fabric and sign up early so you don't miss out.
